Terms of use
Version 1 · Last updated: 26 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [Full name or company name] ("Adthletics", "we") for using the Adthletics platform. You accept them when you create an account, so please read them carefully.
1. The service
Adthletics is an online marketplace. Athletes list spots on their body (such as the biceps or the calf) that they offer for temporary-tattoo sponsorships, with a price per event and the events they will take part in. Brands book spots on athletes for specific events and upload a design for each spot. Adthletics has the designs printed as temporary tattoos and sends them to the athlete before the event.
Adthletics is an intermediary between athletes and brands. We do not organise any event, and we are not a party to the agreement between an athlete and an event organiser.
Some features, such as bookings, payments and shipping, are opening step by step. Until they do, you can create your account and prepare your profile. We will update these terms before they open.
2. Your account
- Athletes must be at least 18 years old. Brand accounts must be opened by someone authorised to act for the brand (see section 3).
- The information you give us must be true, and you must keep it up to date.
- Your account is personal. Keep your password safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
3. Verification, and acting for a brand
- Acting for a brand. If you open or use a brand account, you confirm that the brand has authorised you to do so: to open the account, to book and pay for sponsorships, and to use its names, logos and trademarks on Adthletics. If you act without that authorisation, you are personally responsible for it towards the brand, the athletes and us.
- One account per brand. Each brand has a single brand account. The first verified person becomes its administrator and decides who else from the brand can join it.
- Verifying brands. We verify brand accounts before they can upload designs or book. We may check that your email address is on the brand's own domain, or ask you for documents that show that the company exists and that you can act for it, such as an extract from the companies register, its tax registration, a recent bill in the company's name or an authorisation signed by one of its directors. We may also contact the brand directly.
- Verifying athletes. Before an athlete receives any payment, we or our payment provider verify their identity with an official ID document (such as a DNI, NIE or passport).
- We may refuse or withdraw a verification if the information does not check out.
- No impersonation. You must not pretend to be another person, athlete or brand, or suggest a connection with them that does not exist. We will close accounts that do.
- If someone uses your brand or your name. Write to us at hello@adthletics.com with the details. While we look into it, we may pause the account's bookings and designs. If an account used a brand or a name without authorisation, we will cancel its bookings and close it, and the person who opened it bears the costs this causes.
4. If you are an athlete
- Event rules. Some events and federations restrict advertising on athletes' bodies or clothing, or reserve areas of the body for bib numbers. It is your responsibility to check that a sponsorship is allowed in each event before you accept it.
- Event day. When you accept a booking, you commit to applying the tattoo on the booked spot, following the instructions we send you, and to competing with it visible. We may ask you for a photo as proof.
- Your skin. Temporary tattoos can cause skin reactions in some people. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, test a small piece first. Don't apply a tattoo on irritated or damaged skin, and remove it if you notice any irritation.
- Designs. You can decline any design you are not comfortable wearing.
- Your image. A booking does not give the brand any right to use your name, image or photos. Any such use needs a separate agreement with you.
- Taxes. What you earn through Adthletics is your income. You are responsible for any tax and social security obligations that apply to you.
5. If you are a brand
- Your designs. You confirm that you own, or are allowed to use, every design you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
- Licence. You allow Adthletics to reproduce your designs, free of charge and non-exclusively, to print and send the tattoos and to show them to the athletes concerned, for as long as needed to fulfil the booking.
- Content rules. Designs must not be illegal, offensive, discriminatory, sexual or violent, and must not advertise products or services whose advertising is banned or restricted by law (such as tobacco, or gambling and alcohol where restricted). We may reject any design that breaks these rules.
- Results. We do not guarantee how visible your logo will be, how many photos it will appear in, or any result of a sponsorship.
6. Prices, payments and commission
Athletes set the price of each spot per event. Adthletics charges a commission on each booking, which is shown before the booking is confirmed. [Payment, cancellation and refund terms (for example if an event is cancelled or an athlete cannot take part) to be added before bookings open.]
7. Our liability
We work to keep the platform available and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it will always work without interruption. As an intermediary, we are not responsible for what athletes and brands do or fail to do, for event results, or for the decisions of event organisers.
Our total liability towards a user for a booking is limited to the commission we received for that booking. This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor where the law does not allow it, such as consumer rights.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put other users or the platform at risk. Where possible, we will tell you first and explain why. You can stop using Adthletics and delete your account at any time.
9. Intellectual property
The platform, its design and the Adthletics name belong to us or our licensors (see the Legal notice). These terms do not give you any rights over them beyond using the platform.
10. Personal data
We process your personal data as described in the Privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when new features open. We will tell registered users by email at least 15 days before a significant change applies; if you don't agree, you can delete your account before then. We keep a record of the version you accepted.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be settled by the courts of [City], unless the law entitles you, as a consumer, to go to the courts of your place of residence. Before going to court, please write to us at hello@adthletics.com and we will try to solve it together.
These terms are published in English, Spanish and Catalan. If the versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
